🚗 **Road-Weather Update**
**Indiana:** Life-threatening flash flooding is ongoing across east-central and southeast Indiana. Major concerns include **I-70 near Exit 145** in the Richmond/Union County area and **I-74 near SR-101** in Ripley and Franklin counties. Several areas have received **2.5 to 5.5 inches of rain**, with more heavy rain possible; more than **3 feet of water was reported on a road in Muncie.** Warnings run until **9:15–10 AM EDT.** Do not drive through flooded streets, underpasses, or low-water crossings.
**Kentucky:** Flash flooding is affecting the Frankfort, Shelbyville, Eminence, Midway, and Pleasureville areas through **9:30 AM EDT.** Rainfall of **2–3 inches** has fallen, with another **0.5–1 inch** possible. Expect flooded low spots, streets, highways, and underpasses.
**Iowa:** A severe thunderstorm moving east at **35 mph** is affecting the Iowa City area, including **I-80 from mile markers 238–264** and **I-380 from mile markers 1–11**, through **6:30 AM CDT.** Expect wind gusts up to **60 mph**, quarter-size hail, torrential rain, and possible rapid flooding. Slow down, avoid stopping under trees, and never drive through water-covered pavement.
**Southwest Iowa & eastern Nebraska:** A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until **10 AM CDT** for areas including Council Bluffs, Omaha, and Lincoln. Be prepared for sudden storms that could bring hazardous winds, heavy rain, and reduced visibility.
