**Flash flooding**
– **Arizona:** Redington Road north of Redington in northeastern Pima County faces flash flooding from thunderstorms through **8 PM MST**. Rainfall of **0.8–1.3 inches** has fallen; low crossings, streets, washes, and underpasses may flood quickly.
– **Ohio/West Virginia:** Flash flooding is possible along **I-77 in West Virginia, mile markers 124–150**, and near Ripley, Ravenswood, Sandyville, Kenna, and Fairplain through **10:45 PM EDT**. **1–2 inches** of rain has fallen, with another **0.5–1 inch** possible.
– **New Mexico:** Near Moriarty and Stanley, heavy rain may flood arroyos, small streams, and low-water crossings through **9 PM MDT**. Up to **1.5 inches** has fallen, with more rain expected.

**Severe thunderstorms—damaging winds and hail**
– **Alabama:** Around Huntsville, Decatur, Madison, Hartselle, and Guntersville, storms may produce **60 mph wind gusts** through this evening. A **61 mph gust** was recently reported at Huntsville International Airport.
– **Mississippi:** **I-22, mile markers 82–109**, plus the Tupelo, Fulton, Baldwyn, Verona, and Okolona areas, could see **60 mph gusts**. Additional storms affecting Jefferson Davis, Lamar, and Marion counties also carry 60 mph wind potential.
– **Georgia:** North and northwest Georgia—including Gainesville, Cumming, Dahlonega, Dawsonville, Trenton, and Lookout Mountain—faces storms with **60 mph winds and penny-size hail** through **8:30 PM EDT**.
– **Carolinas:** Severe storms are moving southeast at **40–60 mph** across western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina, including Hendersonville, Brevard, Hickory, Morganton, Marion, Rutherfordton, and nearby areas.
