**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
⚠️ **West Tennessee:** A severe thunderstorm near Dyersburg is moving east at 50 mph, with 60 mph wind gusts and nickel-size hail possible through **3:15 AM CDT**. Use caution on **I-40 near mile markers 82–83** and **I-55 near mile markers 13–15**. Avoid driving near downed trees or debris.
🌧️ **Ohio:** Flash flooding is affecting the Columbus area—including Westerville, Reynoldsburg, Gahanna, Pickerington and Granville—through **6:45 AM EDT**. Rainfall totals of 1.5–3.5 inches, with up to 2 more inches possible, may flood streets, highways, underpasses and low spots. Numerous roads are closed in parts of the Dayton area due to flooding. Minor flooding is also possible near **SR-48 and SR-73** in Butler and Warren counties through **7:15 AM EDT**.
🌧️ **Southern Illinois, western Kentucky & southeast Missouri:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected near Charleston, La Center, Wickliffe, Mounds, Mayfield and Bardwell after 3–4 inches of rain, with up to another inch possible. Roads, underpasses and low-lying areas may flood through around **6:00–6:15 AM CDT**. A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect across southern Illinois, western Kentucky, southeast Missouri, northeast Arkansas and west Tennessee until **5 AM CDT**.
🌧️ **Indiana:** Minor river flooding around Lafayette may affect low-lying areas and some county roads near Wildcat Creek and the Wabash River. The Wabash is forecast to crest at 12.6 feet shortly after midnight tonight.
🌧️ **Southeast Ohio & northern West Virginia:** Heavy thunderstorm downpours could cause flash flooding through **2 PM EDT** in parts of southeast Ohio and northern West Virginia. Be alert for rapidly rising creeks and water-covered rural roads.
🌧️ **Phoenix metro:** Minor flooding in low spots and poor-drainage areas is possible in Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler and Tempe through **3:45 AM MST** after 0.75–1.5 inches of rain.
🌫️ **Nebraska, Iowa & South Dakota:** Dense fog is reducing visibility to one-quarter mile or less in central/southeast Nebraska through **10 AM CDT**, and below one-half mile in parts of northeast Nebraska, northwest Iowa and southeast South Dakota through **9 AM CDT**. Slow down, use headlights, and leave extra following distance.
