**Road-Weather Update:**
**Ohio:** Life-threatening flash flooding is reported around the Columbus metro, including Pataskala, after 2–4.5 inches of rain; another 0.5–1.5 inches is possible. Flooding may affect streets, underpasses, and low-lying routes through 7:45 AM EDT. River flooding is also affecting/expected near Sidney, Spring Valley, Roxanna, and Waynesville, with Corwin Road, Waynesville Road, and Middletown Road subject to flooding.
**Indiana:** Heavy thunderstorms have produced up to 3 inches of rain across central and south-central Indiana. Water is reported or possible over roads and low-water crossings near Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Plainfield, Greencastle, Shelbyville, Paoli, and French Lick. Advisories generally run through 7:45–9 AM EDT.
**Southern Illinois & western Kentucky:** A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 5 AM CDT, including the Paducah, Murray, Mayfield, Hopkinsville, Cairo, and Metropolis areas. Be ready for rapidly changing driving conditions if storms develop.
**Northeast Kansas & northern Missouri:** Dense fog may reduce visibility to one-quarter mile or less through 10 AM CDT, including areas around Atchison, St. Joseph, and north-central Missouri. Slow down, use low-beam headlights, and leave extra following distance.
