**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
π **Ohio:** Significant flooding is affecting parts of central, east-central and southwest Ohio. Flash flooding is ongoing near **Zanesville, Cambridge, Barnesville and Freeport**, where 1 to 3.5 inches of rain has fallen, with more possible through late morning. Numerous roads are reported closed in and around **Columbus**, Greene County and southern Preble County after 2 to 4.5 inches of rain. Avoid flooded streets, underpasses and low-water crossingsβ**turn around, donβt drown.**
π **Middle Tennessee:** Flash flooding from thunderstorms is affecting **I-40 between mile markers 136 and 162** in the Centerville/Lobelville area and **I-24 between mile markers 1 and 17** near Clarksville. Rainfall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour are possible near Clarksville. Flash flood warnings run through 8:15β9:45 AM CDT. Do not drive through water-covered roads.
π«οΈ **Kansas & Missouri:** Dense fog is reducing visibility to **one-quarter mile or less** across much of central, north-central, northeast and east-central Kansas, along with northern and central Missouri. Advisories remain in effect until **10 AM CDT**. Slow down, use low-beam headlights and leave extra following distance.
π **Saipan & Tinian, Northern Marianas:** A Tropical Storm Watch remains in effect as Tropical Storm Saudel approaches. Tropical-storm-force winds are possible beginning late Friday night, with conditions potentially worsening quickly Saturday. Heavy rain, strong winds and coastal flooding could make travel hazardous.
