**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

⚠️ **Flash flooding:**
• **South Carolina:** Flooded roads are reported around North Charleston, including **I-26 (mile markers 206–214)** and **I-526 (18–21)**. Up to 2–3 inches has fallen, with another 1–3 inches possible through 7:15 PM EDT. Avoid underpasses and never drive through water.
• **Pennsylvania:** Flash flooding is ongoing near Mahaffey, Northern Cambria, Hastings, Cranberry and Beaver Falls, where storms have dropped 1–1.5 inches with more rain expected. Roads, highways and low-lying areas may be impassable.
• **Utah:** Life-threatening flash flooding is occurring in and around Capitol Reef National Park, including Sulphur Creek, Grand Wash and Capitol Gorge. Avoid washes, creek crossings and canyon roads.
• **Colorado:** Heavy rain is causing low-lying road flooding around Highlands Ranch, Littleton and Chatfield Reservoir through 6:30 PM MDT.
• **Virginia/Florida-Georgia Big Bend:** Minor flooding is possible on low-lying roads near Glade Spring, Lebanon and Rosedale, VA, and in northeastern Jefferson/Leon counties, FL, and southern Grady/Thomas counties, GA.

⛈️ **Damaging thunderstorms:**
• **Ohio, West Virginia & western Pennsylvania:** Storms capable of 60 mph winds, hail and torrential rain are affecting the Cleveland area, Pittsburgh’s eastern suburbs, and the Parkersburg–Athens–Marietta corridor. Use caution on **I-77** and West Virginia Route 50, where downed trees, sudden crosswinds and flooded pavement are possible. A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect across much of northeast Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania until 9 PM EDT.
• **Kentucky & Tennessee:** Severe storms are producing 60–70 mph winds and up to half-dollar-size hail from the Burkesville area through eastern Kentucky, and around Livingston, Celina and Byrdstown, TN. Expect tree damage, debris and possible blocked roads.
• **Arkansas/Tennessee:** 60 mph winds and quarter-size hail are impacting the Memphis-area corridor, including **I-40, I-55 and I-240** near West Memphis, Marion, Bartlett and Millington.
• **Colorado/Nevada:** Severe storms near Roggen and Wiggins, CO, may produce 70 mph winds, golf-ball-size hail and blowing dust that can sharply reduce visibility. Additional severe weather is affecting rural Elko and Eureka counties, NV.
• **Upstate South Carolina/northeast Georgia:** A storm near Seneca and Hartwell is moving southeast at 25 mph with 60 mph winds and nickel-size hail.
• **Eastern West Virginia:** Storms near Kirby, Rio and Capon Springs may bring 60 mph winds, quarter-size hail, downed trees and blocked roads.
