Severe thunderstorms are affecting parts of Ferry and Stevens counties through shortly after midnight PDT.

– **U.S. Highway 20:** Near **Sherman Pass** (mile markers 315–330), expect possible ping-pong-ball-size hail and wind gusts up to **60 mph** through **12:30 AM PDT**. The storm is moving north at 45 mph.
– **U.S. Highway 20 and U.S. Highway 395:** Around **Chewelah, Arden, and Addy**—including US-20 mile markers 358–371 and US-395 mile markers 209–224—60 mph gusts and quarter-size hail are possible through **12:15 AM PDT**.

Drivers should slow down, watch for sudden crosswinds, hail-covered pavement, downed trees or debris, and avoid stopping beneath trees. Check local conditions before traveling.
