🚗 **Nationwide Road-Weather Update — Friday Morning**
🌧️ **New Mexico:** Flash flooding is ongoing in Eddy and Otero counties, including Artesia, Hope, Sacramento, Mayhill, Weed, Sunspot and Boles Acres. Heavy rain of up to 1 inch per hour is affecting saturated terrain, with flooding on highways, streets, underpasses and low-water crossings. Warnings continue through **5:30–7:30 AM MDT**. A broader flood warning covers Roswell, Clovis, Portales, Dexter and Hagerman, where **2–4 inches** of rain has fallen and another **1–2 inches** is possible through **9:30 AM MDT**.
🌧️ **West Texas:** Flash flooding continues near Tornillo and southeastern El Paso County, with **1–3 inches** of rain reported and low-water crossings, roads and underpasses affected. Flood warnings continue through **6:30–9:45 AM MDT**. In Big Bend National Park, the Rio Grande near Castolon is in minor flood stage; the road between Santa Elena Canyon and Cottonwood Campground is flooded, with the warning continuing through **11 AM CDT**.
🌊 **Illinois/Wisconsin:** Residual flooding continues along the Fox River near New Munster after **3.5–4.5 inches** of rain. Flooding is near **77th Street, Riverside Drive, Shorewood Drive and Highway W** in the Salem Lakes/Wheatland area. The warning continues through this afternoon.
🌊 **Southeastern Ohio:** Flooding continues along Raccoon Creek and tributaries in Gallia and Vinton counties. Numerous roads remain closed, and water or debris may remain on roadways through **noon EDT**.
🌫️ **North Dakota:** Dense fog across much of central North Dakota, including the James River Valley and areas near Bottineau, Mercer, Oliver, McLean and Morton counties, may reduce visibility to **¼ mile or less** through **11 AM CDT/10 AM MDT**. Slow down, use headlights and increase following distance.
