Hammer Down Road Report

🚧 **Road-Weather Update: Flooding Concerns in IN, IL & OH**

**Indiana/Illinois:** Ongoing minor river flooding along the White, Wabash and Illinois Rivers may affect low-lying roads through much of the week. Notable impacts include:
– **SR-57 and nearby Pike County roads** near Petersburg, IN, where several county roads are flooding.
– **State Road 358 between Plainville and Edwardsport, IN,** plus Old Vincennes Road, remain impassable by several feet of water.
– **Pottsville Road near Hazleton, IN** is underwater and impassable.
– Low roads near Montezuma, Terre Haute, Vincennes, Riverton, Hutsonville and Mount Carmel may be affected; flooding near Terre Haute has inundated many roads behind the Honey Creek Levee.
– **U.S. 136 north of Covington, IN** has nearby high water affecting access, while Parke CR 75 W near Montezuma is beginning to flood.

Warnings generally continue into Wednesday through Saturday, depending on location. Never drive around barricades or through water-covered roads—turn around, don’t drown.

**Ohio:** Near **Cambridge**, Wills Creek remains above flood stage through late tonight. Wills Creek Valley Road could see up to 2 feet of water at higher levels, and Eighth Street north of town may flood. Avoid low-lying routes and any barricaded roads.
