🌧️ **New Mexico Road-Weather Update**
Flood Watches are in effect across much of New Mexico, including the Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas, Rio Grande Valley, western and southern mountains, Glorieta Pass, Estancia Valley, and communities from Raton and Las Vegas to Roswell, Clovis, and Tucumcari.
Moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms may cause flash flooding of rivers, streams, arroyos, low-lying areas, and burn scars—including the Ruidoso area. The threat begins Monday afternoon in western areas and Monday evening farther east, continuing through late Tuesday night. The watches expire Wednesday at 6 a.m. MDT.
Never drive through floodwater—turn around and find a safer route. Slow down, allow extra travel time, and watch for rapidly rising water.
