⚠️ **Road-Weather Update**

– **Oklahoma Panhandle & Texas Panhandle:** Destructive storms near Boise City, Texline, Kenton, Wheeless and Black Mesa Park are moving southeast at 30 mph, with winds up to **80 mph** and hail. Warning until **5:45 PM CDT**. Avoid travel where possible—expect sudden crosswinds, debris, downed trees and potential power outages.

– **Western Oklahoma:** Severe storms near Vinson, Hollis, Olustee, Gould and Duke are moving southeast at 30 mph, producing **70 mph wind gusts** and up to **2-inch hail** through **5:30 PM CDT**. Park under cover if available and do not drive into hail or wind-blown debris.

– **Northeast New Mexico:** Near Clayton, Sedan and Seneca, destructive winds up to **80 mph**—including an **84 mph** gust at Clayton Airport—may create blowing dust with visibility below one-quarter mile. Highway 64 between mile markers **424 and 429** is included. Warning until **4:15 PM MDT**. Slow down, use headlights, and pull off the road safely if visibility collapses.

– **Wyoming:** A severe storm approaching Wheatland, Chugcreek, Bordeaux and Phifer Airfield may bring **60 mph winds** and quarter-size hail through **4:15 PM MDT**.

– **Northeast Minnesota:** Southeastern St. Louis County, including Cotton and Boulder Lake, faces a severe storm moving east at 25 mph with **60 mph winds** and quarter-size hail through **5:45 PM CDT**.

– **Georgia:** Heavy rain is causing or may soon cause ponding and minor flooding on low-lying roads. Use caution on **I-16 and I-95 near the interchange, Pooler and Richmond Hill** through **7:30 PM EDT**, and on **I-75 near Exit 5 at Lake Park** through **7:45 PM EDT**. Douglas, Alma, Nicholls and West Green also could see an additional **1–2 inches** of rain. Never drive through flooded roads—turn around, don’t drown. A separate severe storm near Horse Creek WMA and Jacksonville may produce **60 mph winds** through **6:15 PM EDT**.

– **Alaska:** The Eastern Alaska Range north of Trims Camp can expect south winds of **30–40 mph**, gusting to **60 mph**, through **7 PM AKDT**. High-profile vehicles should use extra caution.
