**Nationwide road-weather update:**
🌧️ **Texas:** Flash flooding is ongoing or imminent across northern Duval, northwestern Jim Wells, southwestern Live Oak and southeastern McMullen counties. **US 59 (mile markers 736–754)** and **US 281 (mile markers 642–664)** may be flooded. Three to six inches of rain has fallen, with additional heavy rainfall possible. Flooding is also possible through Friday evening across parts of southeast Texas, including the Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Waller, Grimes, Walker, Wharton, Jackson, Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Colorado and Washington County areas, where rainfall rates of **2–4 inches per hour** may occur. The Llano River near Mason may flood secondary roads and low-water crossings.
🌊 **Kansas and Missouri:** Flooding is occurring or expected in parts of east-central Kansas, including Junction City and the Wichita area. **I-70 between mile markers 291–302 and 310–315** may be affected; 3–5 inches of rain has fallen, with up to another inch possible. Flood watches remain in effect across portions of eastern Kansas and western, northern and central Missouri, where another **1–2 inches** could flood creeks, streams and low-water crossings.
🌧️ **Guam:** A Flash Flood Warning covers southwestern Guam, including Talofofo, Inarajan, Merizo and Umatac, through **10:45 AM ChST**. Up to 1.2 inches has fallen, with another **2–4 inches** possible. Roads, underpasses and low-lying areas may quickly flood.
🌫️ **South Carolina:** Dense fog is expected from **3–9/10 AM Friday**, with visibility of **one-quarter mile or less** across portions of the Midlands and Lowcountry. Slow down, use headlights and leave extra following distance.
