**Road Weather Update:**
• **Tennessee:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected in Cumberland County, including Crossville, Fairfield Glade and Crab Orchard, through **4 PM CDT**. Another flood advisory covers parts of west Tennessee, including Paris, Lexington, McKenzie and Huntingdon, through **2:15 PM CDT**. Roads, underpasses and low-lying areas may flood quickly.
• **Southwest Arkansas:** Flash Flood Warnings remain in effect for parts of Howard County near Corinth and Center Point until **2 PM CDT**, and central Pike County—including Murfreesboro and Crater of Diamonds State Park—until **3 PM CDT**. Pike County has already received **4–8 inches** of rain. Never drive through flooded low-water crossings.
• **Mid-Atlantic:** Severe thunderstorms with wind gusts up to **60 mph** are affecting parts of Delaware, southeastern Pennsylvania, Maryland and southern New Jersey. Use extra caution on **I-95** in Delaware and Pennsylvania, **I-295** in New Jersey, and the New Jersey Turnpike near exits 1–2. Downed trees, power lines, sudden heavy rain and flash flooding may block roads. Warnings run through **2:15–2:30 PM EDT**. A broader severe-thunderstorm watch remains in effect across parts of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast through **6–8 PM EDT**.
• **Virginia:** Severe storms near Broadway, Timberville, Mount Jackson and Basye are moving east at **30 mph** with **60 mph** wind gusts through **2:15 PM EDT**. Watch for fallen branches and blocked roads.
• **Northeast:** Severe-thunderstorm watches extend through **8 PM EDT** across parts of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and western Massachusetts. Drivers should be prepared for rapidly changing conditions, strong winds and heavy rain.
• **Northeast Florida & Southeast Georgia:** Heavy thunderstorms have produced **1.5–3 inches** of rain, with another **1–2 inches** possible around Jacksonville, Elkton, Oceanway, central Putnam County, and parts of Appling, Pierce and Wayne counties in Georgia. Minor flooding of poor-drainage and low-lying roads is possible through late afternoon.
