**Road-Weather Update**
**Kansas:** Severe thunderstorms and flash flooding are affecting southern Johnson County, including Overland Park, Olathe, Leawood, Gardner and Spring Hill. A severe storm moving east at 10 mph may produce 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail through 5:30 AM CDT, impacting I-35 between mile markers 208–219 and I-435 between mile markers 76–79. Flash flooding from 1.5–2 inches of rain already fallen, with more heavy rain possible, remains a threat through 11 AM CDT. Avoid flooded streets, underpasses and low-lying roads—turn around, don’t drown.
**Arizona:** A Flood Watch is in effect from 2 PM to 10 PM MST for southeast Arizona, including the Tucson metro, Green Valley, Marana, Vail, Nogales, Sells, Ajo and parts of Pinal County. Stronger storms could produce rainfall rates over 1 inch per hour, with isolated totals of 2 inches or more in an hour. Low-water crossings, urban drainage areas and flood-prone roads may quickly become impassable.
**Wisconsin:** Dense fog is reducing visibility to as low as one-quarter mile across northwest and west-central Wisconsin, including Eau Claire, Chippewa, St. Croix, Polk, Barron, Rusk, Clark, Taylor, Ashland, Iron, Burnett, Washburn, Sawyer and Price counties. Advisories continue until 10 AM CDT. Slow down, use low-beam headlights, and leave extra following distance.
