**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

⚠️ **Flash flooding is the biggest travel hazard across parts of the Southwest and Colorado.**
– **Nevada/California:** Life-threatening flash flooding is affecting **I-15 between mile markers 1 and 24 near Jean and Primm**, with up to **1.5 inches of rain** reported; warning until **4:15 PM PDT**. Flooding also threatens **US-95 and US-359 near Hawthorne** through **4:45 PM PDT**. Avoid flooded underpasses, low-water crossings, and wash-prone roads.
– **Arizona:** Flash flooding is possible around **Sierra Vista, Hereford and Palominas**, including **Route 90 (MM 324–329)** and **Route 92 (MM 324–341)**, through **4:30 PM MST**. Flooding is also occurring near **Brawley Wash at Manville Road** in Pima County, affecting Route 86 and Route 286.
– **Colorado:** Flash flooding is underway near **Rye and Colorado City** after **1.5–2 inches of rain**, through **5 PM MDT**. Dangerous debris flows are possible near **Beulah** in the Middle Aspen Acres burn-scar area, including Northcreek Road. Watch for water, mud, and debris on roads. Highway 550 between Cutler Creek and Dexter Creek near Ouray may also see flash flooding or debris flows.

⛈️ **Severe thunderstorms with 60 mph wind gusts and hail are creating hazardous driving conditions in several areas.**
– **Nevada:** Storms near **Henderson, Anthem, Green Valley and Seven Hills** may produce 60 mph gusts and quarter-size hail through **2:15 PM PDT**. Another severe storm near **White Horse Pass in Elko County** has similar hazards.
– **Georgia/South Carolina:** Damaging 60 mph winds and hail are moving through southeast Georgia and into South Carolina. Use extra caution on **I-95 in South Carolina between mile markers 2 and 20** near Ridgeland, Hampton and Hardeeville through **5:45 PM EDT**. Storms also affect Douglas, Fitzgerald, Ocilla, Alapaha and Odum.
– **Indiana:** Severe storms with 60 mph winds, hail, torrential rain, and possible rapid flooding are crossing west-central Indiana. **I-70 between mile markers 12 and 47** is in the warned area near Brazil, Greencastle, Clay City and Spencer through **5:45 PM EDT**. A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect across parts of central and west-central Indiana until **8 PM EDT**.
– **Texas Panhandle:** A severe storm near **Miami and Lora** is moving east at 30 mph with 60 mph wind gusts through **4:45 PM CDT**.

🌊 **River and roadway flooding:**
– **Indiana/Ohio:** Moderate flooding is occurring along the West Fork Whitewater River near **Alpine**, affecting parts of Fayette and Franklin Counties into Friday afternoon. Near **Brookville**, flooding may close county roads and affect portions of **Route 52**, with low areas of Cedar Grove, New Trenton, West Harrison, and Harrison, Ohio impacted through late tonight.
– **Kentucky:** A Flood Watch continues through early Friday morning for eastern Kentucky, including Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin, Martin, Morgan and Pike Counties.
– **Maine:** Heavy rain has put water over remote North Woods roads in Piscataquis County, including portions of **Telos Road** and **Pinkham Road**. Washouts and impassable low-water crossings are possible through **7:45 PM EDT**.
