đźš— **Road-Weather Update: Flooding Threats in IL, IN & KY**
**Illinois:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected across east-central Illinois. Avoid flooded roads on **I-72, I-74 and I-57** near Champaign, Urbana, Savoy, Mahomet and St. Joseph through **6 AM CDT**. Several road closures are reported around Paxton and Gibson City after **2–6 inches of rain**; flash flooding continues in Ford and Iroquois counties through **7:15 AM CDT**. A severe thunderstorm near Urbana is moving southeast at **35 mph** with wind gusts up to **60 mph** through **3:30 AM CDT**.
**Indiana:** Heavy thunderstorms may cause rapid flooding on **I-65 between mile markers 145–164** and **I-74 between mile markers 11–44**, including near Crawfordsville and Veedersburg, through **8:30 AM EDT**. Flooding is also possible along **I-69 between mile markers 209–230** near Anderson, Fishers, Noblesville and Westfield, with an additional **1–3 inches of rain** possible.
**Kentucky:** Minor flooding is ongoing around Hazard, Whitesburg, Letcher and Jenkins after **1.5–2.5 inches of rain**, with the advisory in effect until **6:30 AM EDT**. Flash flooding remains possible across much of eastern Kentucky through this evening.
