**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
⚠️ **Illinois:** Flash flooding from thunderstorms is affecting central and west-central Illinois. Flooded roads, streets, underpasses and viaducts are reported or possible around Bloomington-Normal, Peoria, Pekin, Macomb, Canton, Paxton and Gibson City.
• **I-39, I-55 and I-74** near Bloomington-Normal; **I-74, I-155 and I-474** around Peoria are included in warnings.
• Rainfall of 2–4 inches has fallen in some areas, with rates up to 1–3 inches per hour.
• Severe storms near Fulton and Mason counties may produce **60 mph wind gusts** through about 2:30 AM CDT.
⚠️ **Nebraska:** Severe thunderstorms moving northeast at 45–60 mph may produce **60 mph wind gusts** and hail near North Platte, Curtis, Brady, Cozad and Gothenburg. Use caution on **I-80 between mile markers 177 and 226** and **Highway 83 between mile markers 43 and 96**. Warnings expire around 2:15–2:30 AM CDT.
⚠️ **Arizona–Nevada–California border region:** Heavy thunderstorms have produced **2–5 inches of rain** in parts of west-central Mohave County, AZ, and east-central Clark County, NV. Washes, low-water crossings and flood-prone roads near Nelson, Dolan Springs, Temple Bar, Pierce Ferry and Hoover Dam may be impassable through 3:45 AM PDT/MST. Lesser flooding is also possible near Bullhead City, Laughlin and Searchlight.
⚠️ **Northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio and much of West Virginia:** A Flood Watch begins at noon EDT and continues through Monday morning. Repeated heavy rain over saturated ground could flood creeks, low-lying roads and other poor-drainage areas.
Never drive through flooded roads—turn around, don’t drown. Slow down for standing water, avoid low-water crossings, and be prepared for downed trees or debris in severe-storm areas.
