**Road Weather Update:**
🌧️ **Hawaii:** Flash flooding is affecting Oahu’s windward side through noon HST, with rain rates of 1–1.5 inches per hour and possible closures along portions of **Kamehameha Highway**. Minor road flooding is also possible on Kauai, Lanai, and Molokai through late morning. Never drive through flooded roads.
⛈️ **Ohio, western Pennsylvania & West Virginia:** Severe thunderstorms are moving east at 25–50 mph with wind gusts up to **60 mph**, downed trees/power lines, torrential rain, and possible flash flooding. Use caution on **I-77 in southeast Ohio** and **I-79, Route 19, and Route 33 in central West Virginia**. Storm warnings generally run through 3:15–4 PM EDT. Tornadoes can develop quickly within severe storms—do not stop under trees or drive through flooded roadways.
🌊 **West Virginia:** Flooding is ongoing or expected in Greenbrier and Summers counties, including Hinton, Rainelle, Alderson, Rupert, and Quinwood, after 2–3 inches of rain. Avoid low-lying roads through 4:30 PM EDT.
⛈️ **North Carolina & southwest Virginia:** Damaging storms with 60 mph winds are affecting central and northwestern North Carolina, including **I-85 and I-40 near Greensboro, Burlington, Graham, Siler City, and Mebane**. Heavy rain has also caused minor flooding concerns in Rockingham and Stokes counties, NC, and Henry and Patrick counties, VA.
⛈️ **Illinois:** Central Illinois storms are producing 60 mph winds and downed trees near **I-72 between mile markers 125 and 156**, including the Decatur area. Warning expires at 2:45 PM CDT.
⛈️ **Georgia:** Severe storms near Macon, Warner Robins, and Robins AFB may produce 60 mph winds and penny-size hail through 3:15 PM EDT.
🌧️ **New Mexico:** Heavy rain may cause minor flooding in southeastern Otero County, including Timberon, through 2:30 PM MDT.
