**Road-Weather Update**
⚠️ **Nebraska:** Severe thunderstorms are moving east across central and north-central Nebraska, with **60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail**. Use caution on **Highway 20 (mile markers 289–318)** and **Highway 281 (mile markers 159–189)** in southern Holt County near O’Neill, Atkinson, Chambers, Amelia and Inman. Storm warnings run through **11:45 PM CDT**; a broader severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect through **midnight CDT**.
⚠️ **West Virginia:** Flooding is affecting low-lying and secondary roads near **Middle Island Creek** in the St. Marys and Middlebourne area. **Stewarts Run Road is flooded.** Avoid any water-covered road through late Tuesday morning.
⚠️ **Indiana & Illinois:** River flooding continues along the **Wabash River** from Lafayette and Covington through Montezuma, Terre Haute, Hutsonville and Vincennes. **SR 225 near Battleground is closed**, and floodwater is near **SR 234 near Lodi**. Many local and county roads are impassable near Covington and Montezuma. White River flooding is also expected to impact southwestern Indiana, including **State Road 358 between Plainville and Edwardsport** and **State Road 257 south of Washington**.
