🚗 **Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
• **New Mexico:** Life-threatening flash flooding and debris flows are affecting the Hermits Peak Calf Canyon Burn Scar near Mora, Holman, Cleveland and Chacon. **State Road 518, mile markers 25–43,** and Highway 121 between Chacon and Holman are at risk. Rainfall rates of up to 1.5 inches per hour are possible; avoid flooded roads and watch for mud, rock and debris. Flash Flood Warning until **5:15 PM MDT**.
• **Florida Panhandle:** Flash flooding is ongoing or developing around Fort Walton Beach, Wright, Niceville, Destin and Eglin AFB after 3–6 inches of rain, with another 1–2 inches possible. Water may cover streets, highways and underpasses. Severe storms also bring 60 mph wind gusts across parts of the Panhandle. Flood concerns extend from Panama City and Panama City Beach to Santa Rosa Beach. Do not drive through standing water.
• **Indiana, Ohio & Illinois:** Heavy thunderstorms are producing flash flooding near Peru and Wabash, Indiana, and around Sidney, Bellefontaine, Anna and West Liberty, Ohio. Some areas have already received 1–3 inches, with more rain possible through this evening. A Flood Watch remains in effect for eastern Illinois and northwest Indiana, where 1–3 inches of rain could quickly flood roads.
• **Nebraska:** Severe storms with 60 mph winds and quarter-size hail are moving east across southeastern Nebraska, including Falls City, Rulo and nearby communities. Urban and low-lying road flooding is also possible around Lincoln, Auburn and Nebraska City after 1–3 inches of rain.
• **Kansas, Missouri & northeast Nebraska:** Severe thunderstorms are bringing 60 mph winds and large hail. Along **I-29 in northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas, mile markers 73–113,** storms are moving southeast as fast as 55 mph. Drivers near Rock Port, Tarkio, Mound City, Marysville, Seneca and Falls City should be prepared for sudden crosswinds, hail and downed trees. Severe-storm watches continue into the evening across parts of northeast Kansas and northwest/north-central Missouri.
• **Mississippi:** Severe storms near Eupora, Maben, Mathiston, Quitman and Clarke County may produce 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail. Slow-moving storms can quickly create hazardous driving conditions from fallen trees, debris and reduced visibility.
• **Arizona:** A severe storm northwest of Morenci is moving southwest near Route 191, with up to 70 mph winds and half-dollar-size hail. Expect dangerous crosswinds, potential debris and possible flash flooding near **Route 191 mile markers 173–175 and 179**.
