**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

đźš§ **Flash flooding:**
– **Western KY, southern IL & southeast MO:** High water may remain on roads, streets, underpasses and low-lying areas near Mayfield, Bardwell, Arlington, Charleston and Wickliffe through **6:15 AM CDT**.
– **Ohio:** Dangerous flash flooding is ongoing or possible in central and west-central areas. **SR-158 and SR-204** in Fairfield/Pickaway counties are affected, with 1–2.5 inches already fallen and up to 2 more inches possible through **8:45 AM EDT**. Auglaize, Hardin, Logan, Shelby and Union counties have received 1–3 inches, with another 1–2 inches possible through **9:30 AM EDT**.
– River flooding may also affect roads near **Middletown** along the Great Miami River and near **Granville** along Raccoon Creek today.
– **Phoenix–Mesa–Chandler–Tempe, AZ:** Minor flooding in low-lying and poor-drainage areas continues after 1–1.75 inches of rain.

🌫️ **Dense fog:**
– **Central/northeast Kansas and central/south-central Nebraska:** Visibility may drop to a quarter-mile or less in spots through **10 AM CDT**. Slow down, use low-beam headlights, and leave extra following distance.

🌀 **Northern Mariana Islands:**
– A **Tropical Storm Watch** is in effect for **Tinian and Saipan**. Tropical Storm Saudel, with 40 mph winds, was moving northwest at 7 mph; tropical-storm conditions are possible within 48 hours. Prepare for deteriorating travel conditions.
