**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

⚠️ **Tornado Watch until 10 PM EDT:** Southern Delaware, southern New Jersey, Maryland’s Eastern Shore, and adjacent coastal areas of Virginia are under a tornado watch. Severe thunderstorms are also possible across much of eastern/central Virginia and northeast North Carolina. If traveling, be ready to safely stop and seek sturdy shelter if warnings are issued.

🌧️ **Flash flooding:**
• **Florida:** West-central Suwannee County, including Dowling Park and Luraville, has 2.5–3.5 inches of rain already, with another 1–2 inches possible. Roads, underpasses, and low spots may flood through 10:45 PM EDT.
• **Virginia:** Near Chase City and surrounding Brunswick, Lunenburg, and Mecklenburg counties, rainfall rates of 2–4 inches per hour may flood roads through 10:30 PM EDT.
• **New Jersey:** Millville, Woodbine, Estell Manor, and nearby southern NJ areas have received 2–5 inches of rain; highways, streets, and underpasses may flood through 8:45 PM EDT.
• **Mississippi:** Western Lee and northern Pontotoc counties have received 8–9 inches in three hours. Flooding is ongoing near County Road 244 and Highway 15 through 11 PM CDT.
• **Ohio:** Scioto River flooding near Circleville may affect SR-762, SR-56 north of US-22, and nearby roads through Sunday morning.
• **Arizona:** Flooding and dangerous low-water crossings are possible on **SR-69 between mile markers 277 and 283** near Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, and Mayer.

⛈️ **Damaging thunderstorms:**
• **Tennessee:** Along **I-75 between mile markers 50 and 66** near Athens, Sweetwater, Decatur, and Niota, storms moving east at 20 mph may produce 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail through 8:45 PM EDT.
• **South Dakota and Minnesota:** Storms capable of 60 mph winds and up to ping-pong-ball-size hail are affecting the Sioux Falls area and parts of southwestern, central, and northern Minnesota. Avoid parking or driving under trees, and expect sudden wind-driven debris.
• **Colorado:** Western Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, and nearby foothill communities face 60 mph winds and quarter-size hail. The Southern Aspen Acres Burn Scar in Pueblo County also has life-threatening flash-flood and debris-flow potential at stream crossings and county roads.
• **North Carolina:** Forest City, Rutherfordton, Spindale, and Bostic may see 60 mph winds through 8:30 PM EDT.
• **Arkansas/Oklahoma/Louisiana/Mississippi:** Multiple severe storms may bring 60 mph winds and hail around De Queen, Bastrop, Crossett, Huttig, Laurel, Grenada, Winona, and Eupora.
