**Road-Weather Update:** Severe thunderstorms and flooding are creating hazardous travel conditions across several states.

– **Middle Tennessee:** Flash flooding is affecting Hohenwald, Waynesboro, Clifton and nearby areas through **6:45 PM CDT**, with 1–2.5 inches of rain already reported. Flooded streets, underpasses and highways are possible. A separate severe storm near **I-65 at mile marker 47** could produce 60 mph wind gusts and penny-size hail through **4:45 PM CDT**.
– **Texas & Oklahoma:** Near-stationary severe storms in Hunt and Hopkins counties, Texas, and around Davis and Turner Falls, Oklahoma, may produce 60 mph winds. In the Houston area, including Galena Park and Jacinto City, up to 2 inches of additional rain could cause low-water and poor-drainage flooding through **5:30 PM CDT**.
– **Colorado/Kansas:** Severe storms are moving east at 35 mph along **Highway 385 between mile markers 136 and 157**, near Cheyenne Wells and Weskan. Gusts up to 60 mph—and a reported 66 mph gust at Cheyenne Wells—may make travel difficult.
– **Carolinas and Virginia:** Severe storms near Harmony and Love Valley, North Carolina, may bring 60 mph gusts, quarter-size hail and torrential rain. Charlotte County, Virginia, has received 3–5 inches of rain, with more expected; low-lying roads may flood through **7:45 PM EDT**.
– **Mid-Atlantic:** Damaging 60 mph winds could bring down trees and block roads near King George and Dahlgren, Virginia/Maryland. A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect through **6 PM EDT** for parts of eastern Maryland and central/southern Delaware, including Dover, Easton and Georgetown.
– **Northeast:** Severe storms with 60 mph winds are affecting western and central Massachusetts, the Kingston–Saugerties–Rhinebeck area of New York and northwest Connecticut, and parts of southern Maine/northern New Hampshire. Expect possible downed trees, power lines, hail, torrential rain and sudden ponding on roads. Minor flooding, including water over roads, is also possible near Gorham, Jefferson and Randolph, New Hampshire, through **7:30 PM EDT**.
