**Road Weather Update**
• **North Alabama:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected in northern Lawrence County, including Town Creek, Courtland, North Courtland, Hillsboro and Wheeler, through **5 PM CDT**. Another 1–2 inches of rain is possible, with flooding on streets, highways, underpasses and low-lying areas. **Never drive through flooded roads—turn around.**
• **Arkansas:** A severe thunderstorm near Searcy/Kensett is moving south at 10 mph through **2:15 PM CDT**, bringing wind gusts up to **60 mph** and quarter-size hail. Expect hazardous driving from downed tree debris and hail.
• **Middle Tennessee:** **I-65 between mile markers 1 and 30** and areas around Pulaski, Ardmore, Cornersville and Elkton are under a severe thunderstorm warning until **2:30 PM CDT.** Gusts up to **60 mph** could damage trees and create sudden road hazards.
• **Florida Big Bend:** A slow-moving severe storm affecting southwestern Gadsden and north-central Liberty counties—including Sycamore, Roy and Rock Bluff—may produce **60 mph wind gusts** through **3:30 PM EDT.** Watch for tree damage and debris on roads.
• **Colorado:** A flash-flood watch remains in effect near the **Aspen Acres Burn Scar**, including **Highways 165 and 78** near Beulah and San Isabel, until **9 PM MDT.** Heavy rain could trigger flash flooding and debris flows; avoid low-lying routes and burn-scar drainages.
• **Northeast/Mid-Atlantic:** Flood watches are posted Thursday for northern Delaware, much of central/northern New Jersey, southeast Pennsylvania, southern Connecticut, the New York City metro and nearby lower Hudson Valley/Long Island. Heavy thunderstorms may drop **1–2 inches of rain**, with localized **3–5 inches** in parts of the Delaware–New Jersey–Pennsylvania region; the NYC-area watch includes peak rates of **1.5–2.5 inches per hour.** Urban streets, underpasses and poor-drainage roads may flood quickly.
