🌧️ **Texas Panhandle:** Flooding is ongoing or expected around Amarillo, Canyon, Hereford, Wildorado, Friona, and nearby areas. Rainfall of 1–7 inches has caused water over roads, flooded low-water crossings, and standing water. Some roads may be impassable. Flood warnings continue through this afternoon, with additional Flood Watches in parts of western and southwest Texas through Thursday morning.
🌧️ **Northern and northeastern New Mexico:** A Flood Watch continues through this evening for the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Upper Rio Grande Valley, Espanola Valley, Jemez Mountains, Raton Pass, and nearby areas. Heavy rain may cause rapid rises in streams, arroyos, rivers, urban areas, and recent burn scars.
🌫️ **Dense fog:** Visibility may drop to **one-quarter mile or less** through 10 AM CDT across northwest and west-central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, and much of central, eastern, southern, and southeastern South Dakota. Slow down, use headlights, and increase following distance.
🌴 **Tropical conditions near Saipan and Tinian:** A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for coastal waters, with southwest winds of **30–40 knots and gusts up to 55 knots** and seas of **11–16 feet** expected. Small-craft operators should avoid hazardous conditions.
