**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

⚠️ **New Jersey & Philadelphia area:** Dangerous flash flooding is ongoing in parts of Camden, Gloucester and Salem Counties, including Deptford, West Deptford, Glassboro, Woodbury and Paulsboro. **4–5 inches of rain** have fallen, with another **1–3 inches** possible; flooding is already reported in Logan Township and Paulsboro. Warning expires **3:45 PM EDT**. Flash flooding also affects Philadelphia, Camden, Cherry Hill and nearby areas through **6:45 PM EDT**, with rain rates up to **2 inches per hour**. Avoid flooded streets, underpasses and low-lying routes.

Severe storms in Monmouth County, including Long Branch, Asbury Park and Middletown, may produce **60 mph winds** through **3:45 PM EDT**. Southeastern Burlington and central Ocean Counties face **60 mph winds and quarter-size hail** through **3:15 PM EDT**.

⚠️ **New Mexico:** Central Otero County, including Sacramento, Weed and **NM-24**, has ongoing flash-flood risk through **3:30 PM MDT**. Up to **2.5 inches** of rain has fallen; avoid Perk Canyon crossing on NM-24 and all low-water crossings.

⚠️ **New York & Connecticut:** A severe storm near Ithaca is moving east at **40 mph**, capable of **60 mph winds and quarter-size hail** through **3:30 PM EDT** for the Ithaca–Cortland area. In western Connecticut, a storm near Danbury is moving northeast at **35 mph** with **60 mph winds and quarter-size hail** through **3:15 PM EDT.** Dutchess and Ulster Counties also face possible flash flooding through **11 PM EDT**, with downpours up to **2 inches per hour**.

⚠️ **Georgia & South Carolina:** Severe storms near Augusta, Grovetown, Evans, North Augusta and Fort Gordon could bring **60 mph winds and quarter-size hail** through **3:30 PM EDT**. Use caution on **I-20 and I-520**, where wind damage, debris and heavy-rain ponding are possible. Flooding is also affecting parts of the Augusta area through **3:45 PM EDT**. Around Columbia, use caution on **I-126, I-20 and I-77** through **3:30 PM EDT** due to urban and small-stream flooding.

⚠️ **North Carolina & Florida:** Heavy thunderstorms are causing ponding and minor flooding in central North Carolina, including the Lexington–Thomasville area, where up to **4 inches** of rain has fallen, and around Pittsboro, Siler City and Robbins. In Bay County, Florida, including Panama City and Panama City Beach, **1–3 inches** of additional rain is possible through **3:30 PM CDT**.

⚠️ **Alaska:** A High Wind Warning is posted for the Eastern Alaska Range north of Trims Camp from **1 AM to 10 PM AKDT Friday**, with south winds **30–40 mph** and gusts up to **70 mph**. Windy Pass in northern Denali Borough may see gusts up to **65 mph**. High-profile vehicles should avoid or delay travel if possible.

Never drive through flooded roads, standing water, or around barricades. Slow down for heavy rain, hail, gusty crosswinds and possible fallen trees or power lines.
