**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
**Arizona:** Life-threatening flash flooding is ongoing across southeastern Arizona, including parts of I-10 near Tucson, Vail, Benson, and Cochise County. Other affected routes include Routes 80, 83, 86, 90, 92 and 286. Rainfall of 1 to 2.7 inches has fallen in spots, with additional rain possible. A severe storm near Three Points is moving west at 15 mph with wind gusts up to 70 mph and ping-pong-ball-size hail. Do not drive through flooded washes, underpasses, or streets; avoid travel near damaging winds and hail. Alerts run through about 1:15 AM MST.
**New Jersey:** Flash flooding is occurring or expected in Morris, Hunterdon and Somerset Counties. I-80, I-78 and I-287 are affected; flooding has been reported on I-80 westbound at Exit 35 and Route 46 east of NJ 15 in Dover. Rainfall of 1.5 to 2.5 inches has fallen, with another half-inch possible. Warnings continue into early morning.
**Kansas City metro / western Missouri:** Heavy thunderstorms are causing urban and small-stream flooding around Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Lee’s Summit and Lenexa. Another 0.5 to 1 inch of rain is possible through 6:30 AM CDT. A severe thunderstorm near Holden, Missouri, is moving east at 40 mph with 60 mph wind gusts and penny-size hail through 1:15 AM CDT. Slow down and watch for water-covered streets and wind debris.
**Iowa:** Dense fog is reducing visibility to one-quarter mile or less across northern, central and western Iowa, including portions of I-35, I-80, US-20 and US-30. Fog advisories remain in effect until 9–10 AM CDT. Use headlights, reduce speed, and leave extra following distance.
**New Mexico:** Heavy rain may cause arroyo, small-stream, and low-water-crossing flooding in west-central Quay and east-central San Miguel Counties through 2:45 AM MDT. Up to 3 inches of total rain is possible in places. Never drive into a flooded arroyo or crossing.
**South Carolina:** Minor urban and small-stream flooding is possible near Aiken and Graniteville, including I-20 between mile markers 10 and 23, through 3:30 AM EDT. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain may fall; watch for water in low-lying areas and poor-drainage roads.
