**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

⚠️ **Flash flooding:**
– **Arkansas/Texas:** Around Texarkana, Wake Village, Nash, Hooks and Red Lick, thunderstorms have dropped 1–2 inches of rain, with another 1–3 inches possible. Flooding of streets, underpasses, highways and low-lying areas is possible through **4:45 PM CDT**.
– **Tennessee:** Flash flooding is possible near Dover, Erin, Tennessee Ridge, Cumberland City and Indian Mound through **4:30 PM CDT**, with 0.5–1.5 more inches of rain possible. Heavy rain is also causing urban and small-stream flooding across parts of west and middle Tennessee, including Jackson, Brownsville, Paris, Lexington, McKenzie and Huntingdon.
– **Northeast Florida:** Minor roadway flooding is possible near Marineland and Crescent Beach through **4:30 PM EDT**. Rainfall totals of 1.5–2.5 inches have fallen, with another 1–2 inches possible.

⛈️ **Severe thunderstorms and dangerous winds:**
– **Nebraska:** Storms across parts of eastern and northeastern Nebraska, including near North Bend, Fremont, Columbus-area Platte County, Lindsay, Newman Grove and Albion, may produce **70 mph wind gusts** and torrential rain. Warnings run through **2:15–2:30 PM CDT**. Expect possible tree damage, debris and blocked roads.
– **North Carolina:** On **I-85 between mile markers 222 and 233** in northern Vance and northwestern Warren counties, a storm moving east at 15 mph may bring **60 mph wind gusts** and penny-size hail through **3:45 PM EDT**.
– **New Jersey:** The Garden State Parkway between mile markers 10 and 57 and Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 1 and 25 are in a severe thunderstorm warning through **3:45 PM EDT**. Storms moving east at 30 mph may produce **60 mph wind gusts** near Vineland, Atlantic City, Millville and Ocean City.
– **New York/Virginia:** Severe storms may bring **60 mph winds**, quarter-size hail and torrential rain around Newburgh, New Windsor, Montgomery and Woodbury, as well as Walton, Andes and Margaretville, New York. Similar damaging winds are possible around Winchester, Luray, Stanley and Sperryville, Virginia. Downed trees, power lines and blocked roads are possible.
