**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
⚠️ **Central Indiana:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected through early morning in and around **New Castle, Greensburg, Shelbyville, Versailles and Osgood**. Storms have dropped up to 3 inches in places, with more heavy rain possible. Streets, highways, underpasses and low-lying routes may flood—**never drive through water-covered roads.**
⛈️ **Minnesota/North Dakota:** A severe storm moving east at 45 mph threatens the **Fargo–Moorhead area**, including **I-29 and I-94**, with wind gusts up to 60 mph and penny-size hail through 3:45 AM CDT. Slow down, expect sudden crosswinds and debris, and avoid stopping beneath trees.
⛈️ **Nebraska:** Severe storms are producing 60–70 mph winds and quarter-size hail across north-central and northeast Nebraska. Travel impacts are possible along **Highway 20** and **Highway 281**, including near O’Neill, Ewing, Chambers, Page and Bartlett. Severe-thunderstorm watches extend across much of Nebraska and into southwest Iowa until 10 AM CDT; central and southern Iowa could see damaging winds, locally up to 80 mph, and large hail.
⛈️ **Northeast Wisconsin:** Large hail up to half-dollar size is possible in central Oconto and south-central Marinette Counties through 3:30 AM CDT. Avoid driving during the strongest cells when possible to reduce vehicle-damage risk.
🌧️ **Western New Mexico:** A Flood Watch begins this afternoon for the Chuska Mountains, west-central plateau and mountains, southwest mountains, and San Francisco River Valley. Slow-moving storms may produce rain rates of 1–2 inches per hour, creating rapid flooding at washes, creeks and low-water crossings.
🌧️ **Central Appalachians:** A Flood Watch remains in effect through Friday morning for northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, southwest Virginia and much of West Virginia. Saturated ground, high creeks and repeated thunderstorms could quickly flood roads and low-lying routes.
