**Road Weather Update**
**Alaska:** A Flood Watch remains in effect through Friday morning for the Central and Western Susitna Valley, including Talkeetna, Petersville, Cache Creek, and areas along the Yentna and Skwentna rivers. Rainfall totals of 3–5 inches are possible in the upper Yentna, Chulitna, and Susitna basins, raising the risk of flooding on low-lying roads and near creeks and rivers.
Also in Alaska, southeast winds of 25–35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph are expected along the Seward Highway near Turnagain Arm and the Anchorage Hillside until 10 AM AKDT. High-profile vehicles should use extra caution.
**North Carolina:** Flooding continues on Hatteras Island in southeastern Dare County until 11 AM EDT. Deep standing water has been reported on portions of **NC 12** from Oregon Inlet through Rodanthe, Waves, and Salvo, with water up to some vehicle headlights after 4–7 inches of rain. Do not drive through flooded roadways.
