⚠️ **Flash flooding and severe thunderstorms are creating dangerous driving conditions in several states today:**

• **Indiana:** Widespread flooding is ongoing across central and east-central Indiana, including the Indianapolis area, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Columbus, Shelbyville, Greensburg, Rushville, and New Castle. Rainfall ranges from 1 to 10 inches in warned areas, with flooded creeks, low-lying roads, and poor-drainage areas possible through **7 PM EDT**. Severe storms with 60 mph winds, quarter-size hail, and torrential rain are also affecting west-central Indiana, including **I-74 between mile markers 1 and 23**, through late afternoon.

• **Illinois:** Flash flooding is affecting the **I-74 corridor between mile markers 189 and 220**, including Danville and Westville, where 1–2 inches of rain has fallen and another 1–2 inches is possible through **5:45 PM CDT**. Severe storms capable of 60 mph winds, hail, and sudden road flooding are also moving through east-central Illinois. A broader flood watch along and north of I-74 continues through Friday morning.

• **Colorado:** Life-threatening flash flooding and debris flows are possible near the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar around Beulah and the Lee Burn Scar in central Rio Blanco County. Roads and driveways may wash out, especially near burn scars. Elsewhere across eastern and northeastern Colorado, heavy storms may produce 1–2 inches of rain in 30 minutes and up to 4 inches through **10 PM MDT**.

• **Arizona:** Flash flooding is underway or imminent near Sierra Vista, Huachuca City, and Fort Huachuca. Watch for flooding on **Route 90 (mile markers 313–323)** and **Route 92 (mile markers 322–323)** through **3:30 PM MST**. Life-threatening flooding is also possible in the Havasu Creek basin near Supai; avoid washes, creeks, and low-water crossings.

• **Idaho:** Water and debris are reported on **Snake River Road and Heise Road** near Heise and the Big Rock Burn Scar. Avoid flooded or debris-covered roads through **3 PM MDT**.

• **Georgia:** A severe thunderstorm near Metter is moving southeast at 20 mph, bringing 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail. Use caution on **I-16 between mile markers 96 and 126** near Statesboro, Metter, Claxton, and Hagan through **4:45 PM EDT**.

• **Alabama:** Severe storms around Auburn and Opelika may produce 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail through **3:30 PM CDT**. Expect possible tree debris, wind damage, and slick roads.

• **California/Nevada:** Severe storms near Primm and Jean may produce 60 mph winds and quarter-size hail along **I-15 in Nevada between mile markers 1 and 15**. Additional severe weather is near Sweetwater Summit and the CA 182/NV 338 junction. Heavy rain is also causing minor street and low-area flooding around Reno, Sparks, and along **US-395** near Gardnerville and Topaz Lake.
