**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

⚠️ **Flash flooding:** In southwest Colorado, life-threatening flash flooding is ongoing/expected in John Brown Canyon west of Gateway through **3:45 PM MDT**, with rainfall rates of 1–2 inches per hour. Highway 550 between Ouray and Ridgway is under a flash flood watch near the Gold Mountain Burn Scar through **10 PM MDT**. Avoid canyon roads, washes, underpasses, and any water-covered pavement.

⚠️ **Nevada:** Severe storms near Ruby Lake/Harrison Pass and rural north-central Nye County can produce **60 mph winds, quarter-size hail, and torrential rain**. On **US-50 near Cold Springs**, minor flooding is expected through **2:45 PM PDT** after 1–2 inches of rain. Slow down, expect sudden crosswinds and hail, and never drive into flooded roadways.

⚠️ **Illinois and Indiana:** Severe thunderstorms with **60 mph winds, hail, and heavy rain** are affecting central/east-central Illinois, including portions of **I-57, I-72, and I-74**. Urban flooding is possible around Bloomington and Normal through **4:45 PM CDT**. Severe-storm watches extend across parts of Illinois and much of central/western Indiana into this evening. Northern Indiana and northwest Ohio also face a flood watch through Friday morning, with possible rainfall rates of **1–2 inches per hour** and flooded low-water crossings. White County drivers should watch for high water downstream of Norway Dam.

⚠️ **Georgia:** Severe storms near Hawkinsville, Unadilla, Soperton, Alamo, and Mount Vernon are moving south at 20–25 mph, with **60 mph wind gusts and up to quarter-size hail** through mid-afternoon. Pull over safely if visibility drops or hail/winds become dangerous.

⚠️ **Arizona and Utah:** Flooding is affecting washes and low-lying roads in Pima County, Arizona, including **Route 86, Route 286, Manville Road at Brawley Wash, and Vamori Wash**. Minor flooding is also expected in southwestern Grand County, Utah, through **3:30 PM MDT**. Do not enter flooded washes or cross water-covered roads.
