**Road-Weather Update: Flooding and severe storms are creating hazardous travel conditions across parts of the Midwest, Plains, Appalachians and Southwest.**
• **Indiana:** Flash flooding near **Muncie** is affecting **I-69 between mile markers 240–251** through 5 AM EDT. Heavy rain has dropped 0.5–2 inches, while a severe storm near Muncie may produce **60 mph winds and ping-pong-ball-size hail** near I-69 mile marker 233. Northern Indiana, including the Logansport and Winamac areas, may also see ponding and low-lying road flooding.
• **Nebraska/Wyoming:** Flash flooding is possible on **I-80 in Nebraska between mile markers 7–17** near Kimball and the Wyoming line. Rainfall of 2–2.25 inches has fallen, with another 0.5–1 inch possible, through midnight MDT. Severe storms in southwest Nebraska—including Red Willow and Furnas counties—are racing northeast at 55–60 mph with **60 mph wind gusts**.
• **Illinois:** Flash flooding is impacting the **I-74 corridor between mile markers 34–61**, including Galesburg, Chillicothe, Toulon and nearby areas, through 3 AM CDT. Another 1–2 inches of rain is possible. Roads may also flood from Ottawa and Streator to Peru, La Salle and Marseilles, where an additional 1–3 inches is forecast.
• **Ohio and southeast Kentucky:** Multiple flash-flood warnings remain in effect through roughly 3:15–3:30 AM EDT. In Ohio, use extreme caution on **SR-335 and SR-776** in Pike/Scioto counties and around Wellston, McArthur and Oak Hill. In southeast Kentucky, flooding is ongoing near Hazard, Whitesburg, Letcher, Jenkins, Wayland and Estill; **numerous roads are reported closed** in parts of Floyd and Knott counties after 2–4 inches of rain.
• **Kansas:** A severe thunderstorm near Phillipsburg is moving northeast at 55 mph with **60 mph wind gusts** through 12:15 AM CDT.
• **Arizona:** Small-stream flooding remains possible at the **Highway 21 bridge over Vamori Wash** in central Pima County through 11:45 PM MST.
