**Road-Weather Update: Flooding and Severe Storm Hazards**

⚠️ **Virginia:** A severe thunderstorm near Richmond is moving southeast at 25 mph, with wind gusts up to **60 mph** and penny-size hail. Expect tree and power-line damage near Richmond International, Sandston, Varina, and surrounding areas through **10:15 PM EDT**. Slow down and watch for debris and sudden wind gusts.

⚠️ **Montana:** A severe thunderstorm northwest of **Bozeman** is moving east at 20 mph, capable of **60 mph wind gusts** through **8:15 PM MDT**. Be alert for downed trees and hazardous crosswinds.

🌧️ **Texas:** Flash flooding remains a danger near **Marathon, Sierra Madera, and Elephant Mountain** in Brewster and Pecos counties. **2.5–4 inches** of rain has fallen, with more possible; roads, underpasses, and low-water crossings may still be flooded through **10 PM CDT**.

🌧️ **Arizona:** Life-threatening flash flooding is ongoing in central Mohave County, including **Route 66, Blake Ranch Road, DW Ranch Road, and Hackberry Road**, through **9:15 PM MST**. Up to **3 inches** of rain has fallen. Do not drive into flooded areas.

🌧️ **Colorado:** Flash flooding is affecting north-central Elbert County and southeastern Washington County, including areas near **Anton, Elba, and Arickaree School**. Rain totals range from **1–5 inches** in Elbert County and up to 3 inches in Washington County; rural roads, creek crossings, and low-lying areas are at risk. Warnings run through **9 PM MDT** in Elbert County and **10:30 PM MDT** in Washington County. Flooding is also possible near **Limon, Genoa, Agate, and Elba**. A Flood Watch remains in effect for El Paso County through **10 PM MDT**.

🌧️ **Nebraska Panhandle & Southeast Wyoming:** Heavy rain has produced **3–4 inches** near **Kimball, Pine Bluffs, Burns, Albin, and Bushnell**. Minor flooding of low spots, dry arroyos, and drainage areas is possible through **10 PM MDT**.

🌧️ **Florida:** Minor flooding is expected near **Trenton** in west-central Alachua and southern Gilchrist counties through **12:45 AM EDT**. Another **1–2 inches** of rain may fall on already saturated roads and poor-drainage areas.

🌧️ **Central Iowa:** A Flood Watch covers areas along and south of **Highway 30** to the Missouri border through Saturday morning. Several rounds of rain have already brought **2–6 inches** this week; additional rainfall may cause urban, creek, and low-lying road flooding.

🌧️ **Eastern Indiana & Ohio:** A Flood Watch is in effect from **Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning** for eastern Indiana and much of central and southwest Ohio. Heavy rain and thunderstorms could flood creeks, underpasses, highway dips, and other low-lying roads.
