**Road Weather Update: Flooding and dense fog affecting travel in several states this morning.**

🌧️ **Central & West-Central Illinois:** Serious flooding is impacting portions of McLean County and the Peoria area. Numerous roads are closed or covered by slow-moving/standing water. **I-39, I-55 and I-74 near Bloomington-Normal**, plus **I-74, I-155 and I-474 around Peoria, Pekin and East Peoria**, are within warned areas. Rainfall totals range from **2.5 to 6.5 inches** in spots. Warnings run until **11 AM CDT**. Never drive through flooded roads or underpasses.

🌧️ **Indiana:** Flash flooding from thunderstorms is affecting west-central, central and east-central Indiana, including the **Indianapolis area, Muncie, New Castle, Crawfordsville, Covington and Attica**. Rainfall rates of **1 to 2 inches per hour** are possible in some areas, with flooded streets, highways, creeks and low-lying routes expected. Alerts expire between **11:45 AM and 12:45 PM EDT**. Turn around—don’t drown.

🌫️ **Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia & Pennsylvania:** Dense fog may reduce visibility to **one-quarter mile or less** through **10 AM EDT** across western Maryland, Frederick County, Virginia, parts of West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle and Northern Panhandle, and southwest/western Pennsylvania. Slow down, use headlights and leave extra following distance.
