Minor flooding is also possible around Sacramento and Weed in Otero County.
– **North Carolina & southwest Virginia:** Severe storms are producing **60 mph wind gusts**, hail, torrential rain, and possible flash flooding across parts of northwestern and central North Carolina, including the Statesville, Mocksville, Yadkinville, Wilkesboro, Mount Airy, and Pilot Mountain areas. Expect downed trees, power lines, debris, and rapidly flooded roads through **4 PM EDT**. Flooding is also affecting Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach through **5:45 PM EDT**, while southwest Virginia drivers near Big Stone Gap, Pennington Gap, Appalachia, Nickelsville, and Dungannon may encounter water-covered roads through **5:30 PM EDT**.
