Use caution on **I-77 in southeast Ohio** and **I-79, Route 19, and Route 33 in central West Virginia**. Storm warnings generally run through 3:15β4 PM EDT. Tornadoes can develop quickly within severe stormsβdo not stop under trees or drive through flooded roadways.
π **West Virginia:** Flooding is ongoing or expected in Greenbrier and Summers counties, including Hinton, Rainelle, Alderson, Rupert, and Quinwood, after 2β3 inches of rain. Avoid low-lying roads through 4:30 PM EDT.
βοΈ **North Carolina & southwest Virginia:** Damaging storms with 60 mph winds are affecting central and northwestern North Carolina, including **I-85 and I-40 near Greensboro, Burlington, Graham, Siler City, and Mebane**. Heavy rain has also caused minor flooding concerns in Rockingham and Stokes counties, NC, and Henry and Patrick counties, VA.
βοΈ **Illinois:** Central Illinois storms are producing 60 mph winds and downed trees near **I-72 between mile markers 125 and 156**, including the Decatur area. Warning expires at 2:45 PM CDT.
