⚠️ **Tornado Warning — southeast Missouri until 11:15 PM CDT:** A tornado-capable storm near Ellsinore is moving east at 30 mph toward Williamsville and Brush Arbor, with ping-pong-ball-size hail possible. **Do not drive into the warned area—seek sturdy shelter immediately and check the NWS for the latest information.**
**Severe storms:**
• **Southern Illinois/southeast Missouri:** Damaging 60 mph winds and quarter-size hail threaten areas including Cape Girardeau, Sikeston, Charleston, Anna, Jonesboro and Vienna through 11:45 PM CDT.
• **Kansas:** I-70 in southeastern Sherman County, between mile markers 13 and 35, may see 60 mph winds, quarter-size hail and torrential rain through 10:45 PM MDT.
• **Arizona:** 60 mph wind gusts are possible near Florence and along US 60/AZ 79, plus near Apache Junction and Gold Canyon along US 60/AZ 87. Storms are moving west to southwest.
**Flash flooding:**
• **Illinois:** Avoid flooded roads around Champaign-Urbana. I-72, I-74 and I-57 are included; 2–3 inches have fallen, with another 1–2 inches possible through 1:45 AM CDT.
• **Ohio:** Southern Preble County, including Camden and Gratis, has received 1.5–3 inches of rain; highways, streets and underpasses may flood through 2:45 AM EDT.
• **Arizona:** Flooding is occurring around Tucson and southern Pima County, including I-10-area roads and Indian Route 19 south of Topawa. Life-threatening flooding is also possible near Sedona’s West Fork of Oak Creek, including SR-179 and SR-89A. Low-water crossings and washes are dangerous. Additional flooding concerns continue near Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside, and Gila County.
• **Northeast Florida:** Heavy rain may cause ponding and minor flooding around Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach through 2:45 AM EDT.
**Maine:** Dense fog may reduce visibility to one-quarter mile or less along the Hancock and Washington County coast through 7 AM EDT. Slow down, use headlights and increase following distance.
