**Road-Weather Update:**

• **Arkansas:** Flash flooding is occurring around **Malvern, Rockport, Perla and Gifford** after 2–3 inches of rain. Streets, highways, underpasses and low-lying areas may be flooded through **10:45 PM CDT**. Never drive through water-covered roads.

• **North Alabama:** Severe storms affecting the Huntsville, Decatur, Madison, Athens and Scottsboro areas can produce **60 mph wind gusts** through **10:45 PM CDT**. Watch for downed trees, debris, power lines and sudden roadway obstructions.

• **Northwest Kansas & southwest Nebraska:** Severe thunderstorms near **Oberlin and Culbertson** are moving southwest at 10 mph, with **70 mph winds, half-dollar-size hail and torrential rain** possible through **11:15 PM CDT**. Delay travel if possible; avoid flooded roads and protect vehicles from hail.

• **Mississippi:** Severe storms are impacting areas near **Jackson, Canton, Yazoo City, Meridian and Philadelphia**, with **60 mph winds and quarter- to half-dollar-size hail**. Warnings run as late as **11 PM CDT**, while a broader severe-thunderstorm watch covers much of central and eastern Mississippi until **midnight CDT**. Expect tree damage, debris and hazardous driving conditions.

• **South Carolina:** A severe storm near **Landrum, Campobello and Gowensville** may produce **60 mph wind gusts and nickel-size hail** through **11:15 PM EDT**. Be alert for fallen trees and power lines.

• **Ohio:** Flooding is affecting roads near **Hebron and I-70**, including Mill Dam Road between Route 40 and I-70, where water may be several feet deep. Flooding also continues near **McConnelsville, Malta and Stockport**, including sections of Route 669. Do not drive around barricades or through flooded roads.

• **Minnesota:** Severe thunderstorms remain possible across central, east-central and northeast Minnesota—including **Duluth, Brainerd, St. Cloud, Mankato and the Twin Cities west/south metro**—until **midnight CDT**. Be prepared for rapid changes in driving conditions.

• **Southern Utah:** Water may cover **US-89 north of Kanab** and nearby back roads in western Kane County after 0.75–1.5 inches of rain. Flooding concerns continue until **11:45 PM MDT**.
