**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
– **New Mexico:** A **Flash Flood Warning** is in effect for east-central Cibola County, including **I-40 between mile markers 106–121**, Laguna Pueblo, New Laguna, Mesita, Acoma Pueblo and Paraje, through **4:30 p.m. MDT**. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen, with another 0.5 inch possible. Life-threatening flooding may affect highways, streets, underpasses, creeks and streams. **Do not drive through flooded roads—turn around, don’t drown.**
– **Southeast New Mexico and southwest Texas:** A **Flood Watch** continues through this evening, expiring around **midnight MDT**, for areas including the Guadalupe and Davis Mountains, Lea and Eddy counties, Marfa Plateau, Presidio Valley, Eastern Culberson County and the **Highway 54 corridor**. Heavy thunderstorms could quickly flood low-water crossings, poor-drainage areas and other flood-prone locations.
– **Hawaii waters:** Tropical Storm and Hurricane Watches/Warnings remain in effect through Saturday afternoon. East winds of **25–45 knots** and seas of **10–20 feet** will create dangerous marine conditions and sharply reduce visibility. Mariners should remain in port or seek safe harbor.
