🚗 **Nationwide road-weather update from the NWS**
**New Mexico:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected in southeastern Lincoln County, including Tinnie, Hondo and Sunset. Up to 1.25 inches has fallen, with up to 0.75 inch more possible. Flooding may affect **U.S. 380 between mile markers 284–300** through **6:45 PM MDT**. A severe thunderstorm warning also covers parts of Lincoln and Chaves counties, with **60-mph gusts, quarter-size hail and torrential rain** through **4:45 PM MDT**. Another severe storm near **I-25 between mile markers 336–365 and near 366** may produce 60-mph gusts, hail and ponding through **4:30 PM MDT**.
**West Texas:** A severe thunderstorm near Kent is moving northeast at 25 mph across parts of Reeves, Jeff Davis and Culberson counties. Expect **60-mph gusts, quarter-size hail and heavy rain** along **I-10 between mile markers 172–191** and near **I-20 mile marker 0** until **5:30 PM CDT**.
**Oregon, Washington and Idaho:** Wind advisories cover parts of eastern and central Oregon, eastern Washington, the Columbia Basin, Blue Mountain foothills, Yakima Valley, the Spokane area and Idaho Palouse. Southwest-to-west winds of **20–35 mph**, with gusts up to **40–55 mph**, may make driving difficult for high-profile vehicles through this evening. Blowing dust around **Moses Lake, Quincy, Ephrata, Othello, Creston, Ritzville, Wilbur, Grand Coulee, Coulee City, Harrington and Odessa** may reduce visibility to **one-quarter to one mile** through **7 PM PDT**; wind advisories continue until **9–11 PM PDT**. If dust approaches, pull completely off the roadway, park, turn off all lights and keep your foot off the brake.
**Colorado:** Thunderstorms are producing minor flooding in parts of Jefferson County, including Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Golden, Evergreen and Kittredge, through **5:45–6 PM MDT**. Up to 1.25 inches has fallen, with additional rain possible. Flooding is also possible near **Highways 141 and 145** around Naturita through **5:30 PM MDT**.
