🚗 **Nationwide road-weather update: Flooding is the main travel concern**
– **Utah:** Life-threatening flash flooding is occurring in Washington County near Fort Pearce Wash and St. George. In Emery County, flooding threatens **I-70 between mile markers 108–150** and **Utah Route 24 near mile markers 134–156 and 158–160**; slot canyons, washes, highways and low crossings may be impassable. Warnings continue through **3:45–4:30 AM MDT**, with broader flooding possible through **10:45 AM MDT** near Hanksville, Capitol Reef, Torrey and surrounding areas.
– **New Mexico:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected in parts of Grant, Luna and Sierra counties, including Lake Valley and Uvas Valley. Up to 1 inch has fallen, with another quarter-inch possible through **3:45 AM MDT**. Avoid flooded streets, underpasses and low-lying roads.
– **Arizona:** Flooding is possible across the Phoenix metro, northern Pinal and southern Gila counties through this evening, with localized rainfall rates near 1 inch per hour and 1–2 inches possible, especially east of Phoenix.
