**Road-Weather Update:**
🌧️ **Arizona & Utah:** Flash flooding is ongoing or imminent in southern Utah’s Capitol Reef area and northern Arizona near SR-67, including canyon washes and burn-scar drainage areas. Up to 2 inches of rain has fallen near the Dragon Bravo Fire scar, with debris flows possible across roads. In Flagstaff, flooding is affecting low-water crossings and I-40 near mile markers 194-196. Do not drive into flooded roads or washes.
⛈️ **Southern California:** Severe storms near Mount Laguna, Pine Valley, and Cuyamaca Rancho State Park may produce 60 mph winds, quarter-size hail, torrential rain, and flooding. Water may cover roads, including I-8 between Pine Valley and Boulevard.
⚠️ **Mid-Atlantic & Ohio Valley:** Severe thunderstorms are producing or capable of producing 60 mph wind gusts, hail, torrential rain, and downed trees across parts of Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, southeastern Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, northern West Virginia, and coastal North Carolina. Storms are moving generally east to southeast at 30-50 mph. Expect sudden visibility drops, blocked roads, power outages, and possible flash flooding. Key travel areas include I-95 and I-476 in southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Delaware.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect this evening for much of Virginia, Maryland, Delaware-area waters, Washington, D.C., and parts of Pennsylvania.
