**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**

🌧️ **Hawaii:** Flash flooding is ongoing on the Big Island through **7 PM HST**, especially around Hilo, Hawaiian Paradise Park, Volcano, and the Puna and Kaʻu districts. Hurricane Lala rain bands are producing **1–2.5 inches of rain per hour**, with numerous reported road closures in South Hilo, Puna, and Kaʻu. Never drive through flooded roads or low-water crossings.

🌊 **Illinois & Northwest Indiana:** River flooding is creating concerns along the Sangamon, Spoon, La Moine, Mackinaw, Thorn Creek, Sugar Creek, and Kankakee rivers. In Indiana, the Kankakee River flooding includes the area near **I-65 and De Motte** through Monday afternoon. In Illinois, moderate flooding is forecast near Monticello and along the Spoon River; lower roads around Birmingham may be affected. Watch for water-covered rural and riverside roads.

⛈️ **Colorado:** A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until **9 PM MDT** for eastern and southeastern Colorado, including Akron, Limon, Sterling, La Junta, Lamar, Las Animas, and surrounding areas. A Flood Watch continues until **10 PM MDT** for parts of central and southeast Colorado, where heavy thunderstorms may flood low-lying roads, creeks, and urban areas. Flooding is also affecting Bijou Creek and northeast Colorado, with some county-road impacts reported.

🌧️ **Pennsylvania:** A Flood Watch is in effect from **6 AM Sunday through Sunday evening** for the Laurel Highlands and south-central mountains, including Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, and Somerset counties. Heavy rain and repeated thunderstorms could quickly flood low-lying roads and creek crossings.

🌧️ **Kentucky & Georgia:** Heavy thunderstorms may cause minor flooding tonight around **Georgetown and Frankfort, Kentucky**, through **1 AM EDT**. In southeast Georgia, flooding is ongoing or expected near Glennville, Claxton, Hagan, Daisy, and Jennie through **10:30 PM EDT** after **1.5–3.5 inches** of rain, with more rain possible. Use extra caution after dark.

🌧️ **California & Nevada:** Flooding from thunderstorms is possible through **9 PM PDT** near **SR-127 by Dumont Dunes**, including Pahrump, Shoshone, and Tecopa. Normally dry washes, low-water crossings, and poor-drainage roads may become impassable.
