**Road Weather Update: Flooding affecting travel across the Ohio Valley**
⚠️ **Ohio, West Virginia & southwest Pennsylvania:** Flash flooding is underway or developing from thunderstorms. Widespread flooded roadways have been reported around Wheeling, Moundsville, Martins Ferry, St. Clairsville and Bellaire after 1–2 inches of rain, with another 0.5 inch possible. Additional flash flooding threats extend toward Washington and Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, where up to another inch of rain is possible. Avoid low-lying roads, underpasses and creek crossings; warnings run through late morning to early afternoon EDT.
⚠️ **Central and southeastern Ohio:** Numerous roads remain closed or impassable due to flooding around Columbus, Dublin, Grove City, Hilliard and Pickerington after 1.5–3 inches of rain. Near south Columbus, Route 23/High Street is flooded near I-270, and McKinley Avenue may close due to floodgate operations. River flooding may also affect SR-762 near Circleville and local roads near Heath and Enterprise into Friday or longer.
⚠️ **Central Indiana:** Minor White River flooding is expected from later today into Friday after 2–3+ inches of overnight rain. Blue Bluff Road near Blue Bluff Bridge may have about six inches of water; use extra caution in Marion, Morgan, Monroe and Owen counties.
Never drive through flooded roads—turn around, don’t drown. Slow down on wet roads, allow extra time, and check local conditions before traveling.
