⚠️ **Southeast Arkansas Road-Weather Update**

**Flash flooding is ongoing or expected this morning** across parts of southeast Arkansas as thunderstorms produce heavy rain.

– **Pine Bluff, Monticello, Dumas, Star City and Rison:** 2–4 inches of rain has fallen, with another 1–1.5 inches possible. Flooding may affect highways, streets, underpasses, low-lying areas and small streams through **10:45 AM CDT**.
– **Chicot County, including Lake Village, Dermott and Eudora:** 1–3 inches has fallen, with rainfall rates of 1–2 inches per hour and another 1–3 inches possible. Flash-flood impacts may continue through **11:00 AM CDT**.

Do not drive through flooded roads—turn around, don’t drown. Slow down in heavy rain and allow extra stopping distance.
