⚠️ **Flash flooding**
– **Utah:** Life-threatening flooding and debris flows remain possible near the Cottonwood Burn Scar, Beaver Canyon, and the Grove area through **6 PM MDT**. Roads and driveways may be washed out.
– **Arizona:** Flash flooding is ongoing or imminent downstream of the Dragon Bravo Fire scar in Coconino County. **SR-67 near mile markers 609–610** may be affected by debris flows; 1.5–2.5 inches of rain has fallen, with more possible through **7 PM MST**.
– **Southern California:** Heavy thunderstorms are producing dangerous flooding around southeastern Palm Springs and along **Highway 74 between Anza, Mountain Center, and Palm Desert** through **5:45 PM PDT**. Low-water crossings near Mountain Pass, Nipton/Ivanpah Roads, and Newberry Springs may become impassable.

⛈️ **Severe thunderstorms**
– **Virginia and Maryland:** Widespread severe storms are producing 60–70 mph wind gusts, with tree and power-line damage possible. Areas include Hampton Roads, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Newport News, Hampton, Petersburg, Dinwiddie, Prince George, the Eastern Shore, and Maryland’s Dorchester, Wicomico, and St. Mary’s counties. A broader severe-storm watch continues until **10 PM EDT** across much of eastern/central Virginia and southeastern Maryland.
