**Road-Weather Update: Flooding Hazards**
• **West Virginia:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected near Clarksburg, Bridgeport and Philippi through **7:30 AM EDT**. Avoid flooded roads on **I-79 between mile markers 102–122** and Route 50 between mile markers 67–82. An additional 0.5–1 inch of rain is possible.
• **Ohio:** Flash Flood Warnings include the New Philadelphia, Dover, Uhrichsville and Carrollton area through **5:15 AM EDT**, and Noble County—including Caldwell—through **7 AM EDT**. Heavy rain has already produced 1–2 inches in spots; streets, underpasses, small streams and low-lying roads may flood.
• **Ohio, western Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia:** A Flood Watch continues through **Monday morning**. Rainfall totals of 1.5–2.5 inches are expected, with isolated 3–5 inch amounts possible, increasing the risk of rapidly flooded roads and low-water crossings.
• **Western Maryland and eastern West Virginia:** Heavy thunderstorms may produce rain rates of **2–3 inches per hour** through **noon EDT**, with flash flooding possible in Allegany County, MD, and Grant, Mineral, Hampshire, Hardy and Pendleton counties, WV. Garrett County, MD, remains under a Flood Watch through this evening, with localized 3–5 inch totals possible.
• **Illinois/Indiana:** Moderate flooding continues along the Vermilion River near Danville through early Tuesday morning. The river is forecast to crest near **24.5 feet** this afternoon; use caution near river-adjacent roads and crossings.
• **Hawaii’s Big Island:** Rain bands from Hurricane Lala are causing minor road flooding around Hilo, Kailua-Kona, Hawaiian Paradise Park, Captain Cook and Waikoloa Village. Rainfall rates of **0.5–1.5 inches per hour** may leave water over roads through **1:45 AM HST**.
