**Road-Weather Update: Flooding and Severe Storm Hazards**
🚗 **Philadelphia metro / South Jersey:** Flash flooding is ongoing or expected through **3:30 AM EDT** across Philadelphia and nearby southeast Pennsylvania and southwest New Jersey. Heavy rain may fall at **2–3 inches per hour**, flooding highways, underpasses and low-lying streets. Use caution on **I-95, I-76, I-476, I-676 and I-295**, plus the New Jersey and Pennsylvania turnpikes. **Never drive through flooded roads.**
🌧️ **Central & eastern Kentucky:** Flash flooding is affecting Powell and Wolfe counties, including around **Campton, Natural Bridge State Park, Glencairn and Vortex**. Rain totals range from **1.5 to 3.75 inches**, with flooding reported in Campton. Warnings/advisories continue into the early morning; expect water-covered low spots, creeks and rural roads.
🌧️ **Richmond, Virginia area:** Flash flooding continues through **1:30 AM EDT** in Richmond, Chesterfield, southern Henrico and southeastern Powhatan counties. **3–5.5 inches** of rain has fallen, with another **0.5–1 inch** possible. Avoid flooded streets, underpasses and drainage-prone routes.
⛈️ **North-central Nebraska:** Severe thunderstorms are producing damaging winds and hail in Cherry and Sheridan counties. Near Gordon, storms are moving southeast at **30–35 mph** with wind gusts up to **70 mph** and hail up to quarter size. Hazardous travel is possible on **Highway 20, Highway 61 and Highway 97**; delay travel if possible and avoid driving near downed trees or power lines.
🌊 **Ohio & Indiana:** Minor river flooding may affect local roads near **Heath, Ohio**, along the South Fork Licking River, and near **Delphi, Indiana**, along the Tippecanoe River. Watch for water near river access areas and low-lying roads overnight.
