**Nationwide Road-Weather Update**
🚧 **Illinois:** Flash flooding is ongoing near Oakland, Brocton, Rardin, Hindsboro and Isabel after **4–7 inches of rain**. Highways, streets, underpasses and low-lying areas may be flooded through **6 PM CDT**. Never drive through water-covered roads.
⛈️ **Carolinas:** A severe storm moving east at **15 mph** near Columbus, NC, and Greenville County, SC, may produce **60 mph wind gusts** through **2:15 PM EDT**. Watch for fallen trees, power lines and sudden road blockages around Columbus, Tryon, Saluda, Flat Rock and Tuxedo.
🌩️ **Arizona:** **SR-89 between mile markers 326–332** near Chino Valley is under a severe thunderstorm warning until **11:45 AM MST**. Golf-ball-size hail, lightning and torrential rain could damage vehicles and create flash-flooded roadways. Avoid stopping under trees or driving into flooded washes.
💨 **Tennessee:** Severe winds up to **60 mph** are possible near Knoxville and Clinton through **2:30 PM EDT**, including **I-40 mile markers 389–394** and **I-75 mile markers 108–122**. Expect tree damage, debris and possible flooding in heavy rain; slow down and be prepared for sudden closures.
⛈️ **Virginia & Maryland:** Severe storms may bring **60 mph winds and hail** through **2:15 PM EDT** around Newport News and Hampton, VA, and near Snow Hill, MD. Be alert for downed trees, power lines and hazardous crosswinds.
🌧️ **Colorado:** Flash flooding and debris flows are possible this afternoon and evening near the **Aspen Acres burn scar**, including **Highways 165 and 78** near Beulah and San Isabel. Flooding is also possible in El Paso County, including the Colorado Springs area, through **10 PM MDT**. Avoid burn-scar areas, low crossings and rapidly rising water.
🌧️ **Alabama:** Heavy rain may cause urban and small-stream flooding near Valley, Lanett, Cusseta and Huguley, including the **I-85 Welcome Center at Lanett**, through **3:30 PM CDT**. Use caution in poor-drainage and low-lying areas.
